  • ARI Second Baseman #4
Marte led off the contest with his fifth round-tripper in his last seven contests and is now just four big flies shy of his previous career-high mark, which he set more than a half-decade ago back in 2019. The 30-year-old has firmly cemented his status as an elite five-category impact fantasy contributor at the keystone this season, batting .300 (126-for-420) with 78 runs scored, 28 homers, 78 RBI and six steals through 108 contests.
  • ARI Relief Pitcher #63
Martinez got the call to protect a narrow one-run margin in the 10th inning after Ryan Thompson was saddled with a blown save the previous inning when he surrendered a game-tying sacrifice fly that sent the contest to extra innings. He intentionally walked José Ramírez to put runners on the corners before striking out Josh Naylor and David Fry to preserve the victory. The hard-throwing 23-year-old righty should continue to factor into Arizona’s closing mix alongside Thompson and newly-acquired A.J. Puk moving forward, which makes him an interesting addition in deeper mixed leagues where every potential save is extremely valuable.
  • NYM Starting Pitcher #59
Manaea authored a brilliant performance on Monday night at Busch Stadium, scattering six hits over seven scoreless frames, while also notching his third double-digit strikeout performance of the year. The 32-year-old southpaw has been magnificent this season in his Mets debut, compiling a sparkling 3.30 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 122/46 K/BB ratio across 120 innings (22 starts). He’ll aim to keep the momentum going on Saturday when he faces the Mariners in a road matchup.
  • MIN Starting Pitcher #58
Festa allowed just four baserunners on a pair of hits and walks, respectively, over five strong frames at historic Wrigley Field. He’s struck out at least six batters in each of his last four appearances and has allowed a total of three runs over his last three appearances spanning 14 1/3 innings of work. He was removed after 82 pitches, and hasn’t completed more than five innings in any of his appearances, which indicates the Twins aren’t going to let him work deep into games moving forward. However, he has strikeout stuff and has been effective over his last three appearances, despite a bloated 5.55 ERA overall. He’s certainly in streaming consideration in mixed leagues now. The 24-year-old rookie right-hander is set to face the Guardians at home this weekend. He’s at least worthy of a speculative roster spot in all fantasy leagues at this juncture.
  • CIN Shortstop #44
De La Cruz put together one of the most impressive individual performances of the entire season on Monday evening at pitcher-friendly loanDepot park as he tallied with four extra-base hits on four batted ball events with stratospheric exit velocities over 108 mph. The 22-year-old fantasy superstar kicked off the scoring with a two-run homer off Marlins starter Roddery Muñoz before tacking on an eighth-inning solo shot to record his second multi-homer effort of the year. He’s up to 20 round-trippers to go along with a staggering 57 stolen bases. He has a legitimate shot at joining Braves superstar Ronald Acuña Jr., who accomplished the feat last year, as the only members of the 40-70 club in baseball history.
  • ARI Catcher #14
Moreno was in considerable pain after getting while trying to leg out an infield single. It definitely looked like an IL-type situation. That’d be a big loss for a Diamondbacks team with Jose Herrera as a backup catcher. They do have prospect Adrian Del Castillo performing as one of the PCL’s best hitters this year, but his defense is suspect.
  • PHI Starting Pitcher #45
Wheeler scattered just two hits and one walk in the magnificent outing. The two hits that he allowed in the ballgame were a two-out double by Cal Raleigh in the opening inning and a two-out infield single by Victor Robles in the third. He finished the day by retiring the final 15 hitters that he faced in order. The 34-year-old right-hander generated 14 swings and misses on 96 pitches on the afternoon — six of those on his fastball — while registering a CSW of 30 percent. He’ll look to replicate this fine outing when he brings a 2.77 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and a 148/41 K/BB ratio (136 2/3 innings) into Friday’s matchup against the Diamondbacks in Arizona.
  • LAD Designated Hitter #17
Ohtani also drew three walks in the blowout win. With the three steals, the 30-year-old joins the 30/30 club with 31 swipes to go with 33 homers. He also will pitch next year, just in case you forgot. The Dodgers have had their ups and downs as of late. Very little of that blame would/should go to Ohtani.
  • STL Relief Pitcher #56
Helsley got the call to guard a one-run lead in the final frame after the Cardinals erased a three-run deficit over the final two frames to pull off an impressive comeback win. It was a much-needed bounce-back effort for the 30-year-old All-Star stopper after surrendering three runs on Thursday in an ugly blown save against Chicago. He’s converted 34 of 37 save opportunities this season.
  • NYY Right Fielder #99
Judge is on pace to get extremely close to the 60-homer mark for the second time in his legendary career after taking Blue Jays starter José Berríos deep for his 41st round-tripper of the season. He’s gone deep six times over his last eight games and joins Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig and Mickey Mantle as the only hitters in the franchise’s storied history to eclipse the 40-homer plateau in three seasons. The 32-year-old generational talent was intentionally walked with the bases empty and two outs his next time up in the ensuing frame and wound up reaching base safely in four of his five plate appearances.
