After recently spending a week figuratively giving away the Father of Mine ebook for a measly 99 cents, we’ll be literally giving away a few copies of the print version this weekend.
Send an email to florio@profootballtalk.com with this subject line: “Father of Mine August 3 giveaway.” Include your address and preferred inscription. If you win, I’ll let you know before sending it out.
Or you can buy a copy of the print edition for $14.99. The ebook is still only $3.99. And the giveaway is aimed at giving me a reason to mention bother Father of Mine and its upcoming sequel, Son of Mine. It’s coming September 3rd and the ebook can be preordered now, for only $4.99.
If you try either book (I’d recommend the first one first), you’ll like them. And if you like all the free content you get here (including our thorough coverage of the Sunday Ticket case, which could still revolutionize the pricing and availability of out-of-market games), carve off a few bucks for something you most likely will enjoy.
Having a good book to read is the same kind of escape from the day-to-day crap that following football provides. It’s a break from the stress and the strain of life. And in this specific case it’s cheap, especially in comparison to how expensive everything else is these days.
