  • LAD Designated Hitter #17
Shohei Ohtani collected his 32nd homer and 34th stolen base Monday as the Dodgers topped the Phillies 5-3.
He also doubled. Ohtani leads the NL in average (.309), OBP (.397), slugging (.631), homers and runs scored (86) this season. He’s also tied for second in the majors in steals, though he’s definitely not catching Elly De La Cruz (57) in that category.
  • LAD Designated Hitter #17
Shohei Ohtani stole three bases and went 2-for-5 with a run scored in a 10-0 blowout win over the Athletics on Saturday.
Ohtani also drew three walks in the blowout win. With the three steals, the 30-year-old joins the 30/30 club with 31 swipes to go with 33 homers. He also will pitch next year, just in case you forgot. The Dodgers have had their ups and downs as of late. Very little of that blame would/should go to Ohtani.
  • LAD Designated Hitter #17
Shohei Ohtani hit a three-run homer in a loss to the Athletics on Friday.
With the Dodgers trailing 6-2, Ohtani got the Dodgers back into the game in the ninth with a three-run shot off Tyler Ferguson. That’s the 33rd homer of the season for the 30-year-old, and he’s up to 79 RBI in his first year with the Dodgers. A truly remarkable baseball player.
  • LAD Designated Hitter #17
Shohei Ohtani went 2-for-3 with two walks, two runs scored, a home run, two RBI and a stolen base against the Astros on Saturday.
Ohtani’s home run was his 32nd of the year, which leads the National League and trails only Aaron Judge in all of baseball. His stolen base was his 26th of the year. The home run was an absolute moonshot that traveled 433 feet at 118.7 mph exit velocity. He’s hitting .318 with a 1.051 OPS and 76 RBI. Ohtani’s a virtual lock for the National League MVP award.

Shohei Ohtani homered and went 2-for-4 to lead the Dodgers to a 6-4 win over the Giants on Thursday.
Ohtani extended the Dodgers’ lead to 6-4 with his 31st homer on the season. He also doubled and walked and remains impossibly good at the sport of baseball.
  • LAD Designated Hitter #17
Shohei Ohtani crushed his 30th home run of the season on Sunday night, leading the Dodgers to a 9-6 victory over the visiting Red Sox.
Ohtani absolutely pulverized a 2-1 cutter from Kutter Crawford for a 473-foot (116.7-mph EV) solo shot in the fifth inning that increased the Dodgers’ lead to 6-2. It was the fifth and final home run that the Dodgers hit off of Crawford in the contest. Ohtani also walked and struck out in the ballgame, finishing the night 1-for-3. On the season, he’s slashing a ridiculous .315/.401/.638 with the aforementioned 30 long balls, 70 RBI and 23 stolen bases. Simply staggering offensive production across the board.

Shohei Ohtani walloped a three-run homer during Tuesday’s MLB All-Star Game at Globe Life Field.
Ohtani connected on a center-cut heater from Red Sox starter Tanner Houck, launching a colossal 400-foot no-doubter to right field, putting the National League ahead in the early stages of the Midsummer Classic. The 30-year-old two-way superstar became the first Dodger to homer in the All-Star Game since Mike Piazza back in 1996. It’s yet another signature moment for his end-of-career highlight reel.
  • LAD Designated Hitter #17
Shohei Ohtani said decided to sit out the Home Run Derby as a “load issue,” and that he could participate next year.
Ohtani has been taking less batting practice than usual this year as he makes his way back from Tommy John surgery. Taking a whole bunch of home run cuts tonight probably wasn’t in his best interests.

The Dodgers stared at a 3-2 deficit for most of the night but tied things up on a two-out RBI single by Teoscar Hernandez in the eighth inning.
