  • PHI Starting Pitcher #27
Aaron Nola surrendered four runs in six innings Monday in a loss to the Dodgers.
In what could well be a playoff preview, Nola got outdueled by Tyler Glasnow tonight. The Phillies have now lost four straight Nola starts, though this is the first of those in which Nola has taken the decision. They went 15-4 in his first 19 starts.
  • PHI Center Fielder #34
Phillies signed OF Ryan McKenna to a minor league contract.
McKenna, 27, is a .221/.298/.328 hitter in 523 career plate appearances, all but six of which came with the Orioles. He’ll be a candidate for a callup if a Phillies outfielder gets hurt.
  • PHI Starting Pitcher #55
Ranger Suárez, on the IL with a sore lower back, successfully completed a bullpen session on Monday.
Suárez is eligible to come off the IL on Thursday, but it doesn’t sound like he’ll be back until next week at the earliest. Kolby Allard will make at least one more start in his place.
  • PHI First Baseman #3
Bryce Harper went 3-for-4 with a homer and two RBI on Sunday afternoon, helping to power the Phillies to a 6-0 victory over the Mariners in Seattle.
Harper connected on a 391-foot (100.7-mph EV) two-run shot off of Tayler Saucedo in the eighth inning that extended the Phillies’ advantage to 4-0. He also collected a pair of singles in the contest and struck out. With his three-hit attack, the 31-year-old superstar slugger is now hitting .276/.370/.544 with 25 homers, 69 RBI and five stolen bases in 96 games on the season.
  • PHI Left Fielder #12
Kyle Schwarber swatted a leadoff homer on Sunday afternoon, helping to power the Phillies to victory over the Mariners.
Schwarber got ahead of Logan Gilbert 2-0 to start the ballgame and then walloped a 97.8-mph fastball for a 428-foot (114.9-mph EV) solo shot to give the Phillies an early lead that they’d never relinquish. Schwarber also singled and doubled in the ballgame, finishing the afternoon 3-for-5. On the season, the 31-year-old slugger is now hitting .251/.383/.467 with 23 long balls and 64 RBI.
  • PHI Second Baseman #5
Bryson Stott crushed his eighth home run of the season on Sunday as the Phillies triumphed over the Mariners in Seattle.
Stott led off the eighth inning with a 404-foot (101.6-mph EV) solo shot off of Yimi Garcia that increased the Phillies’ lead to 2-0. That would be his only hit in four at-bats on the afternoon. For the season, the 26-year-old second baseman is now slashing .241/.321/.356 with eight homers and 44 RBI.
  • PHI Third Baseman #28
Alec Bohm went 1-for-4 and clubbed a solo home run on Sunday afternoon as the Phillies slugged their way past the Mariners.
Bohm hit the Phillies’ fourth and final home run in the ballgame — and third in the eighth inning alone — with his 380-foot solo shot off of Tayler Saucedo, going back-to-back with teammate Bryce Harper. The 28-year-old third baseman is having an extremely productive season in the middle of the Phillies’ lineup — slashing .295/.352/.483 with 12 long balls and 77 RBI.
  • PHI Starting Pitcher #45
Zack Wheeler delivered a dominant performance in Sunday afternoon’s victory over the Mariners, piling up nine strikeouts over eight innings of scoreless baseball.
Wheeler scattered just two hits and one walk in the magnificent outing. The two hits that he allowed in the ballgame were a two-out double by Cal Raleigh in the opening inning and a two-out infield single by Victor Robles in the third. He finished the day by retiring the final 15 hitters that he faced in order. The 34-year-old right-hander generated 14 swings and misses on 96 pitches on the afternoon — six of those on his fastball — while registering a CSW of 30 percent. He’ll look to replicate this fine outing when he brings a 2.77 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and a 148/41 K/BB ratio (136 2/3 innings) into Friday’s matchup against the Diamondbacks in Arizona.
  • PHI Starting Pitcher #49
Kolby Allard struck out four over four innings of one-run baseball in relief against the Mariners on Saturday.
Allard allowed two hits and walked two with four strikeouts. The left-hander came in after Orion Kerkering threw a scoreless first and he pitched well, with just a Mitch Haniger homer scoring a run. The 26-year-old could work in a similar role next week, but it’s hard to see the fantasy value.
  • PHI Third Baseman #28
Alec Bohm drove in three runs in an extra-inning loss to the Mariners on Saturday.
Bohm picked up the first RBI on a fielder’s choice in the first inning, and he singled in two in the fifth off Tayler Saucedo. The 28-year-old has driven in 76 runs over the 110 games, and it gives him a great chance to reach the century club before the year ends He’s also hit .296/.353/.478 in easily his best season since his rookie campaign back in 2020.
