  • FA Relief Pitcher #48
Anderson was just let go by Boston after posting a 4.85 ERA and a 35/19 K/BB in 52 innings.
  • FA Center Fielder #34
The Giants claimed McKenna on waivers earlier this season. He was booted from the 40-man roster in May and sent outright to the minors. A former fourth round pick of the Orioles in 2015, he’s now free to sign with any team.
  • FA Relief Pitcher #48
Davis was designated for assignment and went unclaimed, and rather than report to the Pacific Coast League, the left-hander will now be free to explore other options. Regardless of who Davis joins up with, it’ll all but assuredly be on a minor-league contract barring something unforeseeable.
  • FA Relief Pitcher #61
The Red Sox didn’t add Luetge to their 40-man roster after he triggered the opt-out in his contract earlier this week, so he’s headed to free agency. The 37-year-old lefty, who signed a minor league pact with Boston back in February, has made 230 appearances in the big leagues since 2012. He’s recorded six saves to go along with a solid 3.02 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 47/13 K?BB ratio across 41 2/3 innings (31 appearances) this season for Triple-A Worcester. There should be another team out there willing to bring him in on another minor league deal.
  • FA Relief Pitcher #30
Diekman predictably passed through waivers unclaimed after being designated for assignment earlier this week and will head to free agency in search of a new opportunity. The 37-year-old southpaw notched four saves this season for the Mets to go along with a lackluster 5.63 ERA, 1.47 WHIP and a 40/24 K/BB ratio across 32 innings (43 appearances).
  • FA Relief Pitcher #77
Warren struggled to an 8.51 ERA across 28 appearances this season in New York’s system after signing a minor league contract last December. The 31-year-old righty hasn’t pitched in the majors since the 2022 season due to injury.
  • FA Second Baseman #24
Odor signed a minor league deal with the Yankees back in early April and never made it back to the Bronx for a second stint with the club. This might be the end of the road for the well-traveled 30-year-old second baseman after struggling last year with the Padres. If this is truly it, he certainly left an impression, most notably on Blue Jays slugger Jose Bautista back in 2016 during an on-field brawl.
  • FA Relief Pitcher #21
Mayers inked a minor league pact with Toronto back in mid-March and never wound up making it back to the big leagues. The 32-year-old journeyman righty made six appearances (two starts) last year for the Royals and has racked up 204 appearances (eight starts) in the majors dating back to 2016.
  • FA Relief Pitcher #63
Staumont passed through waivers unclaimed after being removed from Minnesota’s 40-man roster earlier this week at the trade deadline. The 30-year-old righty was effective this season for the Twins in middle relief and shouldn’t have a problem finding a new opportunity elsewhere.
  • FA Starting Pitcher #75
Walter went unclaimed earlier this week after being designated for assignment at the trade deadline and will head to free agency in search of a new opportunity. The 27-year-old southpaw hasn’t pitched this season due to a rotator cuff strain after making nine relief appearances last year for the Red Sox.
